Master's Students Defend Dissertation in IAS
A batch of M.A. oral defence examination in the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, held on Thursday and Friday, 6th and 7th August, 2026 at the IAS Coffee Room. A total of 15 candidates from three units participated:

Each candidate presented and defended their research before a panel of academic assessors. The presentations covered the research background, statement of problem, aim and objectives, methodology, theoretical frameworks, findings, recommendations and contributions to knowledge. Candidates were also engaged with questions, observations, and feedback from the panel of academic staff of the Institute and an external assessor.
