The exhibition was chaired by Professor Femi Bamiro, the Vice-Chancellor of University of Ibadan between December 1, 2005 and November 30, 2010, and curated by the Honorary Curator of CAMAA, Professor O. I. Pogoson.

In another immersive and insightful exhibition that presents the assembly of monies past and present in Africa, the Cornelius Adepegba Museum of African Arts (CAMAA), Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, hosts “The Dele Fawole Numismatic Collection” in the Institute’s Foyer and CAMAA Salon on the 8th of May, 2025.
Chaired by Professor Femi Bamiro, the Vice-Chancellor of University of Ibadan between December 1, 2005 and November 30, 2010, and curated by the Honorary Curator of CAMAA, Professor O. I. Pogoson, the opening ceremony of the two weeks’ exhibition witnessed the convergence of art lovers, researchers, scholars, students in the university community and family and friends of the collector, Professor Dele Fawole. The Secretary to the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, Mrs Dorcas Adesuyi moderated the opening ceremony.
