Again, CAMAA, IAS, UI hosts Tree Trunk Furniture and Art Expressions (May 22, 2025)

In another creative, immersive, and extensive exhibition, the Institute of African Studies hosted Architects, tree experts, scholars and the general public in the CREATIVE CENTRIFUGA (Tree Trunk and Art Expressions) exhibition on the 22nd of May, 2025.

The exhibition occupied Cornelius Adepegba Museum of African Arts (CAMAA), CAMAA Salon, Institute of African Studies Foyer and its Courtyard. Architect Tunji Bolu, who chaired the opening ceremony valorised the use of trees for aesthetics and its sustainability in the conversation of climate change and tree felling.
